ISSUED AT 2339 UT ON 08 Oct 2013 BY IPS RADIO AND SPACE SERVICES
FROM THE AUSTRALIAN SPACE FORECAST CENTRE

Geomagnetic storm in progress. Good chance aurora may
be observed during local night time hours at high
latitudes (e.g. southern Tasmania).

Further CMEs may impact Earth 10 or 11 Oct, again with
a chance of aurorae. Aurora alerts will follow should
favourable space weather activity eventuate.
