ASWFC Short Wave Fadeout Alerts provide notification of a short wave fadeout in the Australian region. A fadeout alert is issued when the xray flux is greater than C9 and it is daylight in the Australian region. Solar xray flux data is obtained from the US Space Weather Prediction Centre (SWPC). The data is produced by the GOES family of satellites. Subscribing to ips-swf-alert
