2. FORECAST (05 MAY - 11 MAY)
Solar:
Multiple large and magnetically complex sunspot regions
have recently rotated onto the solar disk and will be
present for the period 5-11 May. R1-R2 level flaring
is forecast for 5-8 May, with R1 level flaring with
a chance of R2 forecast for 9-11 May.

Geomagnetic:
G0-G1, with a chance of G2 geomagnetic activity is
forecast for 6-May due to the anticipated arrival of
high speed wind streams from an equatorial coronal hole
and a large coronal hole in the southern hemisphere as well
as the possibility of an impact from a CME first observed on
4-May which may have an Earth directed component. G0
conditions with a chance of G1 are forecast for 7-9 May.
G0 conditions are forecast for all other days.

Frequencies:
MUFs are expected to be near predicted monthly values to
15% enhanced over the period 5-11 May. There is a chance of
mild depressions on 7-May due to possible geomagnetic activity
on 6-May.
