AUSTRALIAN REGION SUMMARY AND FORECAST
1. SUMMARY (14 SEPTEMBER - 20 SEPTEMBER)

   Equatorial PNG Region:
     Near predicted monthly values with up to 30%
     enhancements 02-10 UT.
  Northern Australian Region:
     Depressed up to 20% during local day,
     Near predicted monthly values during local night.
     Sporadic E observed at Darwin 09 and 21 UT,
     Townsville 17-18 and 20 UT and Niue 07-09 and 17 UT.
  Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
     Near predicted monthly values to 20% depressed. Sporadic
     E observed at Mundaring 14-15 UT and spread F from 15-22 UT.
     At Hobart, spread F observed 10-20 UT.
  Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base):
     Proton event in progress, increased absorption observed.

   Equatorial PNG Region:
      Near predicted monthly values to 30% enhanced.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Sporadic E observed at
      Townsville 18-20 UT, Niue at 02-03 and 16-17 UT and Brisbane
      03-05 and 07-08 UT.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values to 30% depressed. Spread F
      observed 10-20 UT.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base):
      Proton event in progress, increased absorption observed.

      Near predicted monthly values.

   Equatorial PNG Region:
      Near predicted monthly values to 20% enhanced
      with depressions of 30% at Vanimo 13-19 UT.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Spread F observed
      at Darwin 13-17 UT.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values. Spread F observed at
      Hobart 09-20 UT. Disturbance observed at Hobart and
      Christchurch around 00-02 UT.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base):
      Near predicted monthly values.

Predicted Monthly T index for September:  24
2. FORECAST (21 SEPTEMBER - 27 SEPTEMBER) 
MUFS: MUFs near predicted monthly values.
Propagation conditions: Normal. Low chance of
SWFs.

3. OUTLOOK (28 SEPTEMBER - 28 OCTOBER)
Degraded HF propagation conditions possible:
28-Sep to 30-Sep, 06-Oct to 10-Oct, 27-Oct.
