1. SUMMARY (09 SEPTEMBER - 17 SEPTEMBER)

Quiet to minor storm with isolated periods of major storm on 12 September. 
Quiet to active on 13 September. Quiet to unsettled on other days.

2. FORECAST (18 SEPTEMBER - 18 OCTOBER)
Disturbed Periods: 
No strong recurrent patterns, however mild activity may be experienced on:
 23-30 Sep,  2-4 Oct,  7-10 Oct,  14 Oct.

Best Quiet Periods: 
 18-22 Sep,  1 Oct,  5-6 Oct,  11-13 Oct.

3. FORECAST FOR HIGH RESOLUTION AEROMAGNETIC SURVEYS
Northern Australian Regions:
 Disturbed Periods: 10 Oct.
 Best Quiet Periods: 18 Sep to 9 Oct,  11-14 Oct.

Central Australian Regions:
 Disturbed Periods: 10 Oct.
 Best Quiet Periods: 18 Sep to 9 Oct,  11-14 Oct.

Southern Australian Regions:
 Disturbed Periods: 10 Oct.
 Best Quiet Periods: 18 Sep to 9 Oct,  11-14 Oct.


Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations 
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum of 
20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be well 
correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic survey 
flight-line data.

PLEASE NOTE:
Geomagnetic activity can frequently be determined by short timescale 
solar events that cannot be forecast a week in advance, particularly
at solar maximum.
