Antarctic Division and International Center for Space Weather
Science and Education, Japan.
Unsettled to possible Major Storm conditions possible for 11Sep-13Sep
due to CME activity. Otherwise Quiet to Unsettled conditions.
2. FORECAST (11 SEPTEMBER - 11 OCTOBER)
Disturbed Periods: 12-13 Sep.
Best Quiet Periods:
15 Sep, 16 Sep, 18-22 Sep, 1 Oct, 5-7 Oct.
3. FORECAST FOR HIGH RESOLUTION AEROMAGNETIC SURVEYS
Northern Australian Regions:
Disturbed Periods: Mildly Disturbed 12Sep-13Sep
Best Quiet Periods: 11 Sep, 14Sep to 7 Oct.
Central Australian Regions:
Disturbed Periods: 12Sep-13Sep

Southern Australian Regions:
Disturbed Periods: 12Sep-13Sep.
Best Quiet Periods: 11 Sep, 14Sep to 7 Oct.
Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum of
20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be well
correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic survey
flight-line data.
PLEASE NOTE:
Geomagnetic activity can frequently be determined by short timescale
solar events that cannot be forecast a week in advance, particularly
at solar maximum.
