Antarctic Division and Space Environment Research Center, Japan.

Mostly quiet to unsettled conditions. Isolated active periods observed
late in week, in association with coronal hole wind stream.

2. FORECAST (18 JANUARY - 17 FEBRUARY)
Disturbed Periods:

3. FORECAST FOR HIGH RESOLUTION AEROMAGNETIC SURVEYS

Northern Australian Regions:
 Disturbed Periods: None.
Best Quiet Periods: 18 Jan to 11 Feb.

Central Australian Regions:
Disturbed Periods: 18 Jan to 19 Jan, 12 Feb to 13 Feb.

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum of
20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be well
correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic survey
flight-line data.
