3. FORECAST FOR HIGH RESOLUTION AEROMAGNETIC SURVEYS

Northern Australian Regions:
 Disturbed Periods: None.
 Best Quiet Periods: 13 Jan to 6 Feb.

Central Australian Regions:
 Disturbed Periods: 11 Jan to 12 Jan,   16 Jan,  19 Jan to 20 Jan.
 Best Quiet Periods:  23 Jan,  26 Jan to 27 Jan,  2 Feb to 6 Feb.

Southern Australian Regions:
 Disturbed Periods: 11 Jan to 12 Jan.
 Best Quiet Periods: 22 Jan to 27 Jan,  2 Feb to 6 Feb.

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations 
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum of 
20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be well 
correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic survey 
flight-line data.
