The geomagnetic activity remained at quiet to active levels
for the first three days of this period due to the effect of
a coronal hole. It then gradually declined to unsettled and
quiet levels. The effect of another small coronal hole raised
the activity to unsettled levels on 14 June.
2. FORECAST (15 JUNE - 15 JULY)

3. FORECAST FOR HIGH RESOLUTION AEROMAGNETIC SURVEYS
Northern Australian Regions:
Disturbed Periods: None.
Best Quiet Periods: 15 Jun to 11 Jul.
Central Australian Regions:
Disturbed Periods: None.

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum of
20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be well
correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic survey
flight-line data.
