1. SUMMARY (30 DECEMBER - 07 JANUARY)
K indices are in UT (0-24). For conversion to local time:
AEST = UT + 10 hours; ACST = UT + 9.5 hours; AWST = UT + 8 hours

Disturbed conditions observed from 31 Dec due to
coronal hole wind stream. Effects of this wind stream
expected to continue till 11 Jan, with declining trend.
In addition a weak mass ejection induced activity on 07 Jan.
Two solar regions presently on the solar disk are mass
ejection capable.
2. FORECAST (08 JANUARY - 07 FEBRUARY)
Disturbed Periods:
08-11 Jan: Active, with isolated minor storm periods.
16-17 Jan: Unsettled to Active
27 Jan-07 Feb: Active, isoalted minor storm periods
Note: Further mass ejections possible over coming week.
Best Quiet Periods:
19-25 Jan
