Solar activity on UT day 04-Mar is expected to be at R0, chance R1
levels. A shock was observed in the solar wind at 03/0848UT from a
late arrival of a recent CME. The solar wind speed is expected to be
light to moderate. G1 periods were observed in the Australian region
during the second half of the UT day on 03-Mar. Further G1 periods are
possible early in the UT day 04-Mar, then G0 conditions are expected.
HF radio communication conditions are expected to be degraded for the
southern Australian region early in the UT day 04-Mar then improving.
Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) are expected to be initially
depressed 15-20% for the southern Australian region, recovering as the
day progresses. Isolated minor shortwave fadeouts are possible. S0
solar radiation storm conditions expected.
