Solar activity on UT day 02-Mar is expected to be at R0-R1 levels. The
solar wind speed is expected to be initially light increasing to
moderate due to a glancing blow from a recent CME. G0 geomagnetic
conditions are initially expected, then increasing to G1 conditions.
HF radio communication conditions are expected to be initially normal
then becoming fair during local night hours tonight. Maximum usable
frequencies (MUFs) are expected to be near predicted monthly values.
Mild depressions of 15% may be experienced after local dawn on 03-Mar
for the southern Australian region. Isolated minor shortwave fadeouts
are possible.
