Solar activity on UT day 17-Jan is expected to be mostly at R0, with
the chance of an isolated R1 flare. The solar wind speed is expected
to be light to moderate. G0 geomagnetic conditions are expected. HF
radio communications are expected to be mostly normal. Maximum usable
frequencies (MUFs) are expected to be normal to 15% enhanced. Isolated
minor shortwave fadeouts are possible.
