Solar activity on UT day 16-Jan is expected to be at R0-R1 levels. The
solar wind speed is expected to be light to moderate. G0 geomagnetic
conditions are expected. HF radio communications are expected to be
mostly normal. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) are expected to be
normal to 15% enhanced. Ionospheric sporadic-E is expected across the
Australian region during local dawn and dusk hours. Isolated shortwave
fadeouts are possible.
