Solar activity on UT day 17-Apr is expected to be at R0-R1 levels.
Solar radiation storm conditions are expected to be at the S0 level.
The solar wind speed is expected to be light to moderate. Geomagnetic
activity is expected to be at the G0 level, with a slight chance of an
isolated G1 period late in the UT day. Maximum usable frequencies in
the Australian region are expected to be generally near predicted
monthly values, with mild brief depressions of 10-15% observed at
Hobart after local dawn this morning then recovering. HF radio
communication conditions are expected to be mostly normal. Isolated
minor shortwave fadeouts are possible.
