Solar activity on UT day 13-Sep is expected to be at R0-R1 levels. The
solar wind was disturbed on 12-Sep by the transient of a slow moving
CME. The solar wind speed is expected to be light to moderate today.
G1 geomagnetic conditions were observed overnight. Planetary
geomagnetic conditions briefly peaked at G2. G0 geomagnetic conditions
are expected for today. HF radio propagation conditions are expected
to be initially fair for southern Australian region with depressed
conditions of 15% observed after local dawn this morning. Maximum
usable frequencies (MUFs) for the northern Australian region are
expected to remain near predicted monthly values, with generally good
HF conditions. Isolated minor shortwave fadeouts are possible.
