Solar activity on UT day 04-Sep is expected to be R0. A solar region
that has recently rotated off disk has produced R2 flare activity from
behind the north west solar limb. There is no significant solar region
currently on the solar disk. The anticipated CME arrival for 03-Sep
has not eventuated. The solar wind speed is expected to be light to
moderate. The geomagnetic field is expected to be at G0, with the
chance of G1 periods. Maximum usable frequencies in the Australian
region are expected to be near predicted monthly values. Following
yesterdays depressed/degraded conditions in the southern Australian
region, improved HF conditions are expected for today, with conditions
expected to be normal during the day and mildly degraded during local
night hours for the southern Australian region.
