Solar activity is expected to be at R0-R1 levels on UT day 19-Mar. The
solar wind speed is expected to be light to moderate for 19-Mar.
Enhanced solar wind conditions are expected during the second half of
19-Mar to the first half of 20-Mar due to a component of a recent
south west CME. G0 geomagnetic conditions are initially expected for
19-Mar, increasing to G1, with the chance of an isolated G2 period
during the second half of 19-Mar extending into first half of 20-Mar.
HF radio communication conditions are expected to be initially good,
with maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) generally 20-30% enhanced.
Degraded HF conditions expected from late 19-Mar and 20-Mar for the
southern Australian region. Isolated minor fadeouts possible.
