[ips-sf] ASWFC Summary Forecast for 04 July - issued 2320UT/03-Jul-2023 [SEC=OFFICIAL]

Solar activity on UT day 04-Jul is expected to be at R1-R2 level. The
large solar region that produced yesterdays R3 flare will rotate off
the solar disk in coming days. The solar wind speed is expected to be
moderate. G0 geomagnetic conditions are expected. Maximum usable
frequencies (MUFs) are expected to be near predicted monthly values.
HF communication conditions are expected to be mostly normal during
local day, with mildly degraded conditions possible during local night
hours. Shortwave fadeouts are probable. A strong fadeout was observed
at Niue 03/2310-04/0030UT in association with yesterdays X1 flare.
