Solar activity on UT day 17-Apr is expected to be at R0-R1 levels,
with a chance of isolated R2 periods. A new active solar region may be
rotating on to the solar disk over the north east solar limb. The
solar wind speed is expected to be light. G0 geomagnetic conditions
are expected. There is a slight chance for a mild increase in
geomagnetic activity on 19-Apr due to weak glancing blow(s) from
recent CME activity. Maximum usable frequencies (MUFs) are expected to
be 15-30% enhanced and HF radio propagation conditions are expected to
be mostly normal. Shortwave fadeouts are possible.
