Solar activity is expected to be at the R0 level on 23-Oct. The solar
wind speed is expected to increase to moderate. Unexpected G1
conditions were observed overnight. G0-G1 geomagnetic conditions are
now expected for 23-Oct. Depressed and degraded HF conditions expected
for southern Australian region for 23-Oct following the overnight
geomagnetic activity. Northern Australian regional MUFs expected to
remain mostly near normal. A coronal hole is expected to increase
solar wind speed from 23-24 Oct, possibly inducing further G0-G1 level
activity over coming days.
