Solar activity is expected to be at the R0 level on UT day 21-Aug,
with a chance of R1 flare activity. The solar region that has been
producing recent activity has continued to show decay. The solar wind
speed is expected to be moderate to strong. G0-G1 geomagnetic
conditions are expected over the next few days due to the combination
of anticipated arrival of recent CMEs and coronal holes. Degraded HF
conditions are possible for middle to high latitudes, particularly
during local night hours.
