Very low solar activity is expected for today, UT day 30 December. The
solar wind speed is currently Moderate but declining due to the waning
influence of a recurrent coronal hole. Geomagnetic activity in the
Australian region is expected to be mostly at Quiet levels and
occasionally may reach Unsettled levels. High-frequency radio
communication users are advised to use lower than the predicted
monthly frequencies. MUF depressions are expected due to lower than
predicted levels of ionising radiation from the Sun.
