Sat Dec 29 10:31:02 EST 2018

Very low solar activity is expected for today, UT day 29 December. The
earth is currently under the influence of strong solar winds emanating
from a coronal hole. The solar wind speed is expected to stay at these
enhanced levels during the next 24 hours as the effects of the coronal
hole persist. Geomagnetic activity in the Australian region is
expected to be at Quiet to Unsettled levels and occasionally may reach
Active levels. High-frequency radio communication users are advised to
use lower than the predicted monthly frequencies.
