Solar activity remained at High levels during the last 24 hours.
Region 2673(S0970) is still producing strong flares. This region
maintained mixed polarity and and complex magnetic configuration, it
has the potential for very large flares over the next few days before
it turns around the West limb, so expect the solar activity to be
Moderate to High over the next few days with a chance of Very High
solar activity. Strong solar wind speeds are expected to continue over
the UT day as the CME passes. The regional Dst index dipped to -240 nT
early UT day but recovered after that. Active to Minor Storm
geomagnetic conditions with possible cases of Major Storm conditions
at higher latitudes are expected today 09 Sep. High-frequency radio
communications Poor to Fair due to disturbed ionosphere. Short-wave
radio fadeouts likely.
