rwc rwc at ips.gov.au
Mon Jul 10 09:29:03 EST 2017

Low to moderate solar flare activity due to the largest Sunspot
observed in 2017. Moderate to strong solar wind due to a geoeffective
coronal hole. Expect geomagnetic activity to remain at Unsettled
levels with isolated periods of Active to Minor Storm levels today,
particularly at high latitudes due to high speed solar wind stream.
Short-wave radio fadeouts possible. High-frequency radio
communications fair to normal at all latitudes with isolated degraded
conditions at high latitudes.
