[ips-sf] IPS Summary Forecast for 17 November - issued 2334UT/16-Nov-2015 [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

rwc rwc at ips.gov.au
Tue Nov 17 10:34:30 EST 2015

Very low solar flare activity. Light solar wind during the first half
of the day. Solar wind stream expected to gain some strength during
the late hours of the day due to the effects of a coronal hole.
Geomagnetic conditions mostly at quiet to unsettled levels, some
active periods possible during the late hours of the day.
High-frequency radio communications mostly normal. The CME related to
the large filament that lifted off the south-west region around 2200UT
on 15 November (UT day), does not seem to have geoeffective component.
However, a minor glancing blow may not be completely ruled out.
