[ips-sf] IPS Summary Forecast for 18 October - issued 2355UT/17-Oct-2014

large active region 2192 is emerging over SE limb. This region
produced several M class flares and massive CMEs over the last 3 days.
The outlook is for solar flare activity increase toward Moderate with
a chance of High activity over the forecast period. The solar wind
speed is presently about 430km/s and there are no Earthward directed
CMEs. Geomagnetic conditions were Quiet during Oct 17 and are expected
to be Quiet with possible Unsettled intervals during the next 24
hours. Propagation conditions are expected to be normal to enhanced
during Oct 18. Short-wave radio fadeouts possible.
