[ips-sf] IPS Summary Forecast for 26 October - issued 2258UT/25-Oct-2012

Fri Oct 26 09:58:24 EST 2012

Solar flare activity is low. A sunspot region that has produced
several large flares earlier in the week is decaying and further
significant flare activity is unlikely, though still possible, over
the next few days. The solar wind conditions are ambient and the
geomagnetic field quiet. Conditions for high frequency radio
communications remain good due to a stronger than normal ionosphere
produced by a high level of ionising solar EUV flux.
