COMMENT: Solar activity was very low on UT day 09 November. Region
2781(S23W10) decreased over the period and produced several low
level B-class flares. Region 2780(N20W37) is currently spotless.
A CME was observed around 08/2012UT in LASCO-C2 imagery, it is
not expected to be geoeffective. No other Earthward directed
CMEs were observed in the coronagraph images. Solar activity
is expected to be very low to low for the next three UT days,
10-12 November with a slight chance of an M-class flare. On UT
day 09 November, the solar wind was slightly enhanced but decreasing
in trend, currently around 350 Km/s. The total IMF (Bt) varied
between 2-6 nT and the north-south component of the IMF (Bz)
range was +/-3 nT, mostly northward. The solar wind speed is
expected to be near its nominal levels for the next three UT
days, 10-12 November.

Pc3 pulsations are high frequency (10-45 second period) variations
of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum
of 20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be
well correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic
survey flight-line data.

NOTE: Indices may have been generated from data obtained in
cooperation with the following organisations: Geoscience Australia,
University of Newcastle Space Physics Group, Australian Government
Antarctic Division and International Center for Space Weather
Science and Education, Japan.
