COMMENT: Solar activity was at very low levels today (UT day 
27 April). No Earth-directed CMEs were observed in the available 
imagery during the last 24 hours. The solar wind speed varied 
from 330 km/s to 390 km/s through the UT day today. The IMF Bt 
varied mostly between 1 and 9 nT and the Bz component of IMF 
fluctuated between +5/-5 nT during most parts of the day today 
reaching negative up to -7.7 nT at 1433 UT. Very Low levels of 
solar flare activity are expected for the next three UT days, 
28-30 April.

COMMENT: Geomagnetic conditions were quiet across the Australian 
region during the UT day 27 April. Geomagnetic conditions in 
the region are expected to stay at quiet levels for the next 
three days (28 to 30 April).

COMMENT: MUFs were mainly near predicted monthly values today 
(UT day 27 April) with periods of minor to moderate MUF enhancements 
recorded in some mid- and high- latitude areas on this day. HF 
conditions may be expected to stay mostly at normal levels for 
the next three days (28 to 30 April).
