COMMENT: Region 1057 (N15E16) produced three, low level, C class
flares at 0515, 0757 and 1014 UT. New region 1059 (S21E73) was
numbered today. The solar wind speed decreased from about 470
km/s early in the period to about 400 km/s. The IMF Bz component
ranged between about +/- 7 nT.

of the Earths magnetic field. Daily pc3-indices are the daily sum
of 20 minute pc3-indices for that station and have been shown to be
well correlated with rejection of high resolution aeromagnetic
survey flight-line data.
NOTE: Indices may have been generated from data obtained in
cooperation with the following organisations: Geoscience Australia,
University of Newcastle Space Physics Group, Australian Government
Antarctic Division and Space Environment Research Center, Japan.
