Near predicted monthly values during local day.
Depressed by 30% during local night.
Southern Australian Region:
Near predicted monthly values.
Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
Near predicted monthly values over the UT day.

COMMENT: MUFs in the Australian region were near predicted monthly
values on UT day 02 January. Depressions were observed from early
evening through the night at most sites. Strong sporadic E was
observed mostly at mid-latitude locations. MUFs in the Australian
region are expected to be near predicted monthly values, 03 to
05 January. Sporadic E occurrences are expected to continue.
