Northern Australian Region:
Near predicted monthly values during local day,
Depressed by 15% during local night.
Depressed by 25% after local dawn.
Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
Depressed by 15% during local day,
Depressed by 25% during local night.
Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
Near predicted monthly values over the UT day.
PCA Event : No event.

Weak F-layer support in polar
regions.

COMMENT: Usable frequencies were slightly below predicted monthly
values throughout the UT day. Cases of strong sporadic E were
observed just after local sunset across equatorial PNG/pacific
regions. In Southern Australian and Antartic polar regions the
F-layer was weak during the long night time hours offering poor
ionospheric support.
