re RTO /URSI Symposium on Characterising the Ionosphere Fairbanks Alaska 12-16th June 2006
May I draw your attention to the forthcoming symposium sponsored by NATO RTA which has been endorsed by URSI. The symposium is structured to enable researchers working in the field of Ionospheric Science to present their findings. We are seeking forty papers with a 40 minutes allocated to each paper, (30 minutes presentation).The formal 'Call for Papers' is attached as a pdf file. We have extended the deadline for the submission of abstracts until January 24th 2006, to allow interested parties to contributed following difficulties experienced with the original distribution. Abstracts of about 200 words can be sent to myself as chair of the technical committee at glyn.wyman at baesystems.com or lodged at the RTA web site http://www.rta.nato.int/ (once at this page click on IST-056). If you experience difficulty at the NATO site please use my e-mail or contact any member of the technical committee.
