Dear Colleagues,
We are soliciting contributions to the following session at the upcoming
International Symposium on Equatorial Aeronomy (ISEA-11) to be held in
Taipei, Taiwan, ROC from May 9-14, 2005.

Session 1
K. C. Yeh Memorial Session: F-region irregularities and scintillations,
radio occultation and tomographic imaging

Recent emphasis on F-region irregularities in the equatorial ionosphere
has led to a broad understanding of their general characteristics
through both experimental and theoretical modeling efforts. However, in
order to predict their occurrence and effects on signals and systems, a
more complete understanding is required. This can be achieved by
employing new observing techniques to simultaneously probe multiple
dimensions of the F-region irregularity environment. This Session, held
in memory of K. C. Yeh, is focused on the most recent results of studies
using multiple instruments and techniques to more fully characterize and
understand the equatorial F-region irregularity environment.

Conveners:
C. H. Liu (chilu@cc.ncu.edu.tw)
Jonathan Makela (jmakela@uiuc.edu)
Eurico de Paula (Eurico@dae.inpe.br)

The abstract deadline has been extended until February 28, 2005. Please
submit your abstract online at
http://csrsddc.csrsr.ncu.edu.tw/ISEA-11/abs_submit1.html and send a copy
to the conveners of this session. Additional information on ISEA-11 can
be found at http://csrsddc.csrsr.ncu.edu.tw/isea-11.html.
