Subject: Decadal Plan for Australian Space Science


Dear colleagues on the Decadal Plan list, STSP list, and others interested 
in Australian space science,

some of you may be wanting to motivate your ARC or other proposals by
referring to the Global Science Themes, Science Goals, and/or
proposed projects/capabilities in the Decadal Plan for Australian Space
Science.

The Academy of Science approved the Plan on 3 December last year and
we anticipate its launch in the April - May timeframe. We do not want
any pre-release publicity at this time but you may want a usable
reference for your proposals. This is, and the draft pre-release Plan can

Please be aware also of the Strategic Plan for Earth Observation from
Space, available as the 30 October 2009 listing on from the Academy
