the School of Physics, University of Sydney, has a Lecturer/Senior
Lecturer position available in laboratory-based Experimental Physics.
Space physics and plasma physics people should apply if their research
program is significantly laboratory based and their academic records are
competitive. For instance, instrument builders and/or testers (whose
devices are then used in space, the atmosphere or laboratory) and/or
straight laboratory experimenters. Please forward this

laboratory-based experimental physics at the level of either Lecturer
(Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C). The successful applicant will have
research interests to strengthen the Schools present areas of research,
which broadly include astronomy, biomedical physics, high energy and
nuclear physics, materials physics, optics and photonics, plasma physics
and space physics. The research activities are carried out by a diverse

This is a full-time continuing position, subject to the completion of a
