Subject: USyd Postdoctoral Research Fellowships 2007

To academic staff,

applications are being sought for up to 15 USyd Postdoctoral Research
Fellowships in 2007. Applicants must have an outstanding track record
relative to opportunity in order to be shortlisted.  Preference will be
given to applicants from other institutions. If you know someone who may be
interested, please pass this on.

In Summary, applicants must contact the Head of the proposed host School no
later than 11 August. The Head will  inform applicants by 25 August whether
they will be competitive and should proceed to write and submit a complete 
application.

Appointments are at Level A.8 for a maximum of 3 years. A research support
grant of $25,000 and return airfare costs will be provided. Fellows may be
required to undertake other (teaching) duties for up to 6 hours per week.

Applications due at Research Office by 15 September.
