Increased absorption (~2db) briefly observed at Mawson 15/1800-1900UT.
Comment: G0 geomagnetic conditions were observed in the Australian region
on UT day 15-Jun, with a mild increase in geomagnetic activity observed
in the second half of the UT day associated with the Earth's entry into
a coronal hole wind stream. The planetary Kp index reached G2 for the
last K period of the day on 15-Jun.
2. FORECAST (16 JUNE - 22 JUNE)
Solar: R0-R1, chance of an isolated R2 flare if solar regions in south east
solar quadrant continue to develop during the week. In addition some activity
currently evident over north east solar limb.
Geomagnetic:
G1 on 16 Jun. G0 on other days.
Frequencies: briefly depressed after local dawn on 16-17 Jun
for the southern Australian region. MUFs near predicted monthly
values on other days.
