Geomagnetic: Quiet to unsettled with active to minor storm levels
observed at some stations 06-15 UT.

at Niue 01-03 UT and depressions up to 50% at Vanimo
13-20 UT. Night spread F observed at Niue.
Northern Australian Region:

Townsville.
Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
Near predicted monthly values. Spread F observed at
most stations during the night.

Near predicted monthly values to 30% depressed. Night
spread F observed.

was observed in the IPS magnetometer data at 0555UT.

observed.
Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
Mostly near predicted monthly values. Night spread F
observed.
Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
Near predicted monthly values. Spread F at night
observed.
2. FORECAST (31 AUGUST - 06 SEPTEMBER)
Solar: Low
Geomagnetic: Isolated active periods late on 31 Aug, 1 Sep
and possibly 2 Sep. Possibility of isolated minor storming
on 1 Sep. Mostly quiet to unsettled on other days.
Frequencies: Depressions 2 and 3 Sep and possibly 5 and 6 Sep.
Otherwise mostly near predicted monthly values. Spread F may
degrade night communications.
