2. FORECAST (19 MAY - 25 MAY)
Solar:
Solar activity is expected to range from Very Low to Low. There
are currently no active regions on disk, but it is possible
returning region 875, which is due to appear in the next few days,
may bring with it an increase in solar activity as it was the
source of M-class events on its last transit.
Geomagnetic:
Quiet to Unsettled conditions expected, with isolated Active periods
early in this forcast week - as solar wind parameters remain
elevated due to a geoeffective coronal hole.
Frequencies:
MUFs near predicted monthly values, with some depressed periods
and disturbed ionospheric conditions possible for mid-high
latitudes early in the week. No SWF expected.
