COMMENT: Some southern Aus region sites had 15% depressed
MUFs on 11 Sep. Probably in association with weak
coronal hole high speed wind stream induced geomagnetic
activity observed 09-10 Sep.
2. FORECAST (12 SEPTEMBER - 18 SEPTEMBER)
Solar: Low
Geomagnetic: Mostly Quiet to Unsettled. Active conditions
with possible minor storm intervals probable 17-18 Sep. Activity
forecast due to 27 day recurrence patterns.
Frequencies: Mostly near predicted monthly values. 15% depressions
possible 18-19 Sep southern Aus/NZ region. Northern Aus
region MUFs expected to be near normal all week.
No shortwave fadeouts expected.
PLEASE NOTE:
At this time of the solar cycle, space weather conditions
are frequently determined by short timescale events, not
able to be forecasted a week in advance.
