2. FORECAST (08 AUGUST - 14 AUGUST)
Solar: Low to Moderate. Isolated Low level M class activity
possible.
Geomagnetic: Mostly Unsettled to Active with Active to Minor
storm intervals possible 8-10 Aug. Activity is then
expected to decline to unsettled levels until 11 Aug afterwhich
active conditions are again expected. Activity due to coronal
hole high speed wind streams.
Frequencies: depressed 15% on 08-09Aug, mid to high
latitudes, then near normal. A return to mildly
degraded/depressed conditions may be experienced after
12 Aug. SWFs possible late in week.
PLEASE NOTE:
At this time of the solar cycle, space weather conditions
are frequently determined by short timescale events, not
able to be forecasted a week in advance.
