2. FORECAST (14 OCTOBER - 20 OCTOBER)
MUFS: Maximum Usable Frequencies in the Australian region are
expected to be near predicted monthly values throughout the week
14-20 October, with possible mild depressions over 14-15 Oct due
to coronal hole high speed wind stream effects.
Propagation conditions:
HF radio propagation conditions are expected to be mostly normal
on all days this week. Mild degradations may occur at high
latitudes on 14-15 Oct due to ongoing mild geomagnetic activity.
Short wave fadeouts are not expected over 14-20 Oct.
T index: 60
3. OUTLOOK (21 OCTOBER - 20 NOVEMBER)
Degraded HF propagation conditions possible:
21-24 Oct, 31-Oct to 01-Nov, 07-10 Nov, 17-18 Nov
PLEASE NOTE:
Space weather conditions can frequently be determined by short
timescale events that cannot be forecast a week in advance,
particularly at solar maximum.
