2. FORECAST (08 JULY - 14 JULY)
Maximum Usable Frequencies (MUFs) may become depressed by 10-15%
over 09-10 Jul, due to high speed wind stream effects from an
equatorial coronal hole. MUFs are expected to be mostly near
predicted values throughout the rest of the week. Spread F is
possible during local night hours throughout the Australian region.
Propagation conditions:
Propagation conditions are expected to be generally normal throughout
the week, with mildly degraded conditions possible at high latitudes
on 09-10 Jul due to coronal hole high speed wind stream effects.
Shortwave fadeouts are possible over the period.
T index: 66
ASWFC SWF HF Communications Warning 64 was issued on 07-July and
is current for 07-08 Jul.
3. OUTLOOK (15 JULY - 14 AUGUST)
Degraded HF propagation conditions possible:
21-23 Jul, 04-06 Aug
PLEASE NOTE:
Space weather conditions can frequently be determined by short
timescale events that cannot be forecast a week in advance,
particularly at solar maximum.
