Predicted Monthly T index for February: 117

2. FORECAST (01 MARCH - 07 MARCH)
MUFS:
MUFS are expected to be near predicted monthly values, with
some depressions possible on 1-Mar due to ongoing geomagnetic
activity. MUFS are expected to be near predicted monthly values
over 2-3 Mar and near predicted monthly values to 15% enhanced
over 4-7 Mar, with mild depressions possible due to high speed
wind stream effects from an equatorial coronal hole rotating
towards a geoeffective position.

Propagation conditions:
Propagation conditions are expected to be normal throughout the
week, with degraded conditions at high latitudes possible on
1-Mar due to ongoing geomagnetic activity and 4-7 Mar due to
coronal hole high speed wind stream effects. Shortwave fadeouts
are possible with an increased chance after 3-Mar due to new
active regions rotating around the solar disk.

T index: 76
ASWFC SWF HF Communications Warning 24 was issued on 1 March
and is current for 1-3 Mar.

3. OUTLOOK (08 MARCH - 07 APRIL)
Degraded HF propagation conditions possible:
20-26 Mar, 31-Mar to 4-Apr

PLEASE NOTE:
Space weather conditions can frequently be determined by short
timescale events that cannot be forecast a week in advance,
particularly at solar maximum.
