Comment: Depressed/degraded HF conditions were observed on 18-Dec
and early in the UT day on 19-Dec in association with geomagnetic
activity induced from a combination of a weak CME arrival and a
coronal hole wind stream. Mild depressions/degradations were observed
on 15-16 Dec.
2. FORECAST (20 DECEMBER - 26 DECEMBER)
MUFS: MUFs near predicted monthly values.
Propagation conditions: Normal. Isolated SWFs probable.
T index: 100
3. OUTLOOK (27 DECEMBER - 26 JANUARY)
Degraded HF propagation conditions possible:
15 Jan, 18 Jan
PLEASE NOTE:
Space weather conditions can frequently be determined by short
timescale events that cannot be forecast a week in advance,
particularly at solar maximum.
