2. FORECAST (21 SEPTEMBER - 27 SEPTEMBER)
MUFS: Mildly degraded conditions during local night hours
and briefly depressed conditions possible after local dawn
during the interval 22-23 Sep for southern Australian region
in association with induced mild geomagnetic activity from a
solar coronal hole wind stream. MUFs near predicted monthly
values on other days. Northern Australian region MUFs
expected to remain near normal.
Propagation conditions: Fair on 22-23 Sep. Otherwise normal.
Isolated HF fadeouts possible during the week, more likely
impacting lower HF frequencies.
T index: 68
3. OUTLOOK (28 SEPTEMBER - 28 OCTOBER)
Degraded HF propagation conditions possible: 30 Sep to 2 Oct.
PLEASE NOTE:
Space weather conditions can frequently be determined by short
timescale events that cannot be forecast a week in advance,
particularly at solar maximum.
