      Mostly near predicted monthly values, some minor
      depressions, particularly during local night.

      Mostly near predicted monthly values, some minor
      depressions, particularly during local night.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values over the UT day 
      with some periods of slight depressions.

MUFS:
   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Depressed by 15% during local day.
      Depressed by 30% during local night.
      Depressed by 40% after local dawn.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Depressed by 15% during local day.
      Depressed by 15% during local night.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Near predicted monthly values during local day.
      Depressed by 20% during local night.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values over the UT day.

02 Feb  -25      Normal-fair       
MUFS:
   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Depressed to 40% 00-13 UT then near predicted monthly
      values at Niue; sporadic E 10-17 UT. No data for Vanimo.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Depressions to 50% at Darwin. Depressions to 50% at
      Townsville 00-17 UT. Depressions to 40% 11-23 UT at
      Cocos Is. Sporadic E mostly evening and night.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Depressions to 35% 00-18 UT Brisbane and Norfolk Is.
      At other stations, depressions to 30% 07-15 UT.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values with depressions to 40%
      12-19 UT.

03 Feb  -19      Normal-fair       
MUFS:
   Equatorial PNG/Niue Region:
      Niue frequencies were depressed to 30% 04-06 and 10-17
      UT. No data for Vanimo.
   Northern Australian Region:
      Depressions to 35% until around 18 UT, then near
      predicted at Cocos Is. and Townsville. Frequencies
      depressed to 40% at Darwin.
   Southern Australian and New Zealand Region:
      Lower latitude stations depressed to 30% 00-07 and
      11-18 UT. Higher latitude stations depressed to 30%
      08-15 UT.
   Antarctic Region (Casey/Scott Base/Davis/Mawson):
      Near predicted monthly values. Depressions to 30% at
      Casey 15-17 UT.

Predicted Monthly T index for February:   6

2. FORECAST (04 FEBRUARY - 10 FEBRUARY) 
MUFS: Near predicted monthly values to 30% depressed. Depressions
may be greater at lower latitudes.
Propagation conditions: Normal to fair. No SWFs
T index: -15

COMMENT: IPS HF Communications Warning 1 was issued on 2 February
and is current for the interval  3-5 February. 

3. OUTLOOK (11 FEBRUARY - 13 MARCH)
Degraded HF propagation conditions possible:
Unless solar activity increases, frequencies are expected to remain
mostly near predicted monthly values to depressed.

PLEASE NOTE:
Space weather conditions can frequently be determined by short 
timescale events that cannot be forecast a week in advance,
particularly at solar maximum.
